Pineapple On Pizza

It was a great week. Yes, all that means is I was able to get In-N-Out. I just really like it there, it feels like home.

A tried a lot of fruits for the first time this week. I've always been a very picky eater and so when my companion found out that most fruits I just haven't ever tried; he decided that he needed to change that. I've been a picky eater my whole life, but now I'm learning I'm not actually picky I just more than anything didn't want to give in to what my parents were telling me to do. Which is what happened, I claim victory on this one. Anyways, I tried 6 different fruits and my favorite was pineapple. Um, yeah. If you don't remember I started off my farewell talk by saying pineapple doesn't belong on pizza. Full disclosure, I've never tried it, but my best friend has loved pineapples on pizza so much that, naturally, I took the opposing view. Yeah, now though I'm scared that I'm going to like pineapples on pizza and have to tell my best friend that he was right all along. I don't like that thought. Still fruit week was very much a success, I enjoyed most of the fruits.

Hank Smith talked to us over zoom this week and he said some really interesting stuff. He talked about feeling the Holy Ghost and how we feel it much more often than we realize. He had a lot more references than just this one, but D&C 11:12 I think explains it best. "And now, verily, verily, I say unto thee, put your trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good yea, to do justly, to walk humbly, to judge righteously; and THIS IS MY SPIRIT." (Emphasis added obviously) Basically, the Spirit of God that we typically think of as a burning in the bosom or a warm feeling is the spirit, but is probably better described as an increase in the spirit. However, we know the Holy Ghost is a constant companion; hence a constant desire to do good means he's constantly working within us. So whenever we have a desire to do good that's the Holy Spirit working within us through the Light of Christ. Little bit of a deeper dive there for ya.

The picture with me in a sling is an old one that I finally got.
