In-N-Out

This week was better. To put it simply, I had growth which greatly helped my outlook on how things were going. Going into the week I had 2 simple goals, or things to focus on. First, I wanted to make sure I did the full 60 minutes of studying rather than 45 or 50 like I was doing. Second, I wanted to make sure to start my day with a prayer. I honestly didn't accomplish doing either of those things everyday. In fact, of the 6 days I had the goals, I did them only 3, but that's 3 more than last week and this week I have the same 2 focus areas with the intention and expectation of everyday achievement.

This week really was pretty typical for the most part, member lessons, wandering around, service. There was one night where we didn't have anything planned and so we just wandered around for 3 and a half hours trying to talk to people. There was hardly anybody out and those who were had somewhere to be, so as you can imagine that was rather disheartening and that feeling actually lasted until the next day for me. It wasn't until we did some service for someone that my mood picked up. We cut down like 50% of this big tree in someone's backyard. Then, of course, we were offered weapons because why not? This time it was 2 really rusty machetes. We did not end up taking those as we thought it wouldn't be the best idea to take them back, considering we biked and didn't have a backpack or anything other than our hands to carry it. It's too bad it honestly would've been cool.

Today was my birthday and I was blessed with In-N-Out. Not only did I get In-N-Out and Crumbl for lunch, but I also got a whole bunch of In-N-Out gear for my birthday including a shirt that the company threw in for free because they're just the best company ever. If you can't tell I just love love love In-N-Out and the pictures below will prove this further. I had a truly great birthday.

One last random tidbit, I love the Dallas Mavericks and its been great the last few days because they just beat the Utah Jazz in the playoffs. Everybody here is a fan of the Jazz and so I've made sure to bring it up and have been wearing Mavericks gear to the gym just because I can.

                  Thanks everyone for your support,
