This week was actually kinda boring, not going to lie. Something funny though is this trend of us getting the most random stuff from people. First we got the toy gun, then we got the air horn, this week we got the coolest item by far. We got these epic Samurai swords that are actually kinda sharp. I also got a T-shirt, but the swords make the T-shirt an afterthought (actually the shirt is pretty cool). I don't know why we keep getting these random toys from people, but hey I'm all for it.

Unfortunately, we had almost 0 lessons this week. Not because we didn't have any planned, but because about 90% of them got canceled. Actually, I'm pretty sure we didn't have more than 1 lesson this entire week. So I don't know what's up with that or what to do about it, but that led to a lot of meandering around on our bikes looking for people to talk to. One night we actually did find somebody to talk to for a while. They aren't members of our church, but we invited them to our Easter Service next week and Elder Stewart is confident that they will come.

Even though the teaching is not happening we actually did do a lot of service. We did something like 12-15 hours of service this week. First, we were at the Tabernacle replica directing people and answering questions. Then, we helped this family build a fence for 6 hours. That was actually a lot of fun, we tore down an old chain link fence and then put up a wooden one, it actually looks really nice. Finally, we made hygiene packets for Ukrainian refugees. I'm still having fun out here, I think you guys know I love helping people. So it's actually really cool to just be able to help someone build a fence one day or be walking down the street and just stop and help somebody load up a moving truck.

Still, I feel a little unfulfilled, but I'm having a lot of fun. I've gotten to be friends with my companion and I also love the other 2 elders we live with. My favorite though is on P day where we get to hang out as a district. It reminds me of Friday nights where I just got to hang out and do something that's kinda dumb. What do you expect from 10 boys our age? It's the best.

I do know that all the wards in our stake have put a big emphasis on inviting others to the Easter Service, so really holding out hope that something, anything, will come out of this that will allow us to be busier than we currently are.
