The MTC

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I know that I am. 

Me and my companion have been getting along great. We're actually very similar, which is fun. My district has been awesome as well, I think my favorite thing has been goofing off with everybody there and just having fun. I feel like I've learned a lot in class about how to teach, but then we do our practice lessons and it gets a lot harder, but I'll continue learning and one of my teachers told me you'll learn more in the first couple days in the field than you will during your entire MTC experience so more growth and learning is on the way. Which spiritually, I feel like I've learned a lot already. I feel like I've gotten to know my Savior better than ever before. One day while pondering I was looking at a picture of the savior. In it the apostles had been fishing all day with nothing to show for it and then the savior tells them to cast on the other side and they catch more than they can carry. I spent a long time trying to find happiness in the world, but once I looked where the Savior told me to look I found more than I can carry. This is the way to happiness, I know that to be true and I can't wait to start serving the people of Layton, which will start this Tuesday!
